He has directed more than 50 productions and has collaborated with the National Theatre of Greece, the National Theatre of China, the Cyprus Theatre Organisation, and the Municipal and Regional Theatres of Patras, Corfu, and Agrinio. He has directed productions in Athens, Lesbos, and Italy. His plays have been performed in Greece and Cyprus.
His research interests are related to the training of young directors, as well as directing techniques and methods concerning Ancient Greek Tragedy, William Shakespeare, Anton Chekhov, French and Scandinavian theatre, and contemporary international and Greek drama. Other research areas include the adaptation of theatrical texts, the adaptation of literary works into plays, the adaptation of plays into screenplays, theatre in non-theatrical spaces, devised theatre, theatre in education, and theatre in prisons and museum spaces. He has published academic articles with the international publishing house Springer on theatre in museums and theatre in archaeological and non-theatrical spaces.
Examples of his theatre work include the productions Oresteia – Agamemnon (2019), Timon of Athens (2019), Neoptolemus Initiation (2016), and The Old Man Said It (2017).
