In 2014, she received First Prize for Song Creation for her song Moira Mou kai Pepromeno (“My Fate and Destiny”) in a competition organized by the Onassis Foundation’s Stegi of Letters and Arts.
In 2018, her album El3ven was released by Metronomos. The album marked her first complete discographic work as a creator and received outstanding reviews from respected media outlets.
Her work in setting poetry to music is extensive, with a major highlight being her collaboration with the Delphi Festival in 2018, where she was invited to compose music for and perform poetry by Angelos Sikelianos. Another important collaboration came in 2020 with the National Theatre of Northern Greece and the Greek Ministry of Culture for the performance Sta Oneira ton Poiiton (“In the Dreams of the Poets”), conceived and composed by Christou herself. The music-poetry performance was based on works by Kostis Palamas, Angelos Sikelianos, and Napoleon Lapathiotis, featuring as its central song Neraidoparmeni, a musical adaptation that received particularly warm acclaim.
More recently, she was invited to orchestrate and record part of her musical adaptations with the Contemporary Music Orchestra of ERT.
A particularly noteworthy and inspired work by the artist is Kyra tis Syngnomis (“Lady of Forgiveness”), an independent song dedicated to the “Dimitra of Lesvos,” which was independently released in 2021.

She has composed music and songs both independently and for theatrical, children’s, and music-poetry performances, collaborating with various cultural institutions across Greece, including the Onassis Stegi, ERT, and the National Theatre of Northern Greece, among others.
